Foundation and development
The first generational renewal occurred in the final years of the 1970s with the incorporation of Enrique Morera Guajardo, lawyer and Master in Economics and Business Administration, following the passing away of the founder. Since that time the Firm develops by increasing the legal services offered by the induction of new collaborators in the project and offering its’ Clients’ a differentiating factor -which is part of its seal-, specifically in the double background of its member which allows (i) a fluid communication with Clients, (ii) understanding the economic and corporate needs in all of their aspects and subtleties and, (iii) a preparation and knowledge which guarantees an optimum positioning vis-à-vis the counterparty.
All of the above develops whilst permanently anchored on the principals of excellences and ethical values which were the origin and the reason behind the foundation of the Firm, at the same time as combining with up-to-date, agile services which are geared towards the needs and requirements of the Client.
Notwithstanding, the most important asses of BM&A are its partners and all of the team which has committed itself to the continuity and transcendence of the Firm, imprinting in the successive generations the culture and spirit which characterizes it.
To date, the Firm is incorporated as BM&A Asesores Legales, S.L., a commercial enterprise of intermediation with the most up-to-date services and facilities for the development of its activity, with ample and adequate offices in (Barcelona and Madrid) and with bureaux de liaison in Mexico City and Manila (Philippines).
BM&A has, in addition, a permanent center in Puigcerdà (Girona) at the disposal of its members of monographic sessions or of study or for work meetings with other Firms or collaborators. Its facilities have the most up-to-date technology and comfort, and are located in an area which induces concentration with the necessary isolation and discretion.
Principals and Objectives
The policy of BM&A has, on the one hand, the balance between service quality and the geographical expansion of the Firm, and, on the other hand, an adequate and balanced dimension, as the only way to maintain and control rigour and excellence.
It is its policy to not exclusivity agreements with any firm be it national or international and, via the aforementioned liaison bureaus, the Firm facilitates an adequate international service to its Clients tailored to their needs and with the best legal service providers, per country and specialty, as required.
It is considered that each assignment – whether judicial, arbitral or extrajudicial – requires a specific and particular type of solution, at appropriate costs, always and in any case maintaining a high quality in the service provided. These objectives can only be achieved, with subject-specific professionals whose work and costs are controlled by BM&A. This facilitates, also internationally, to reach as indicated a high quality service at adequate prices and much more efficient, in terms of quality and cost, than what comparatively can offer brands of legal services of a multinational character.the feesBM&A follows a policy of total transparency and predictability in the economic agreements it reaches with its Clients, through previous budgets and a constant and complete information on the status of costs and expenses incurred.
